Drop off gently used/clean women & children's clothing & toys to

Oh Baby, at 1504 Cole Street in downtown Enumclaw--(360) 825-9565. 

This is a wonderful consignment store where part of the profits return to the seller.  When you drop off items, please mention Northwest Bible Church/Brook Hickle and the profits will be used to support our VBS efforts.

They accept about 3 bags from one person at a time and no donations accepted during the first five days of the month.

Thank you for contributing to our worthy cause and also getting rid of items that you no longer use!

CALLING ALL VBS VOLUNTEERS!

It's that time again! Time to mark your calendars for our first VBS volunteer meeting of the year! The first meeting of the year is designed to give you an overview of what will be on our agenda as we explore the mighty love of God on the High Seas, and will also be your opportunity to sign up and volunteer for the job or jobs that sound most exciting to you! This year, there will be even more jobs available, as we are adding a preschool program for the first time. So plan to attend our first meeting on Sunday, April 11th at noon at the church. I cannot wait to see all of you there, and let you in on the excitement of what VBS 2010 holds for our volunteers and children. It will be our best year ever, without a doubt! LET'S GO! :)

Looking Back at VBS 2009

I look at this picture on my office wall each and every day as I work at my computer. To me, it represents the love and energy that God sends into, and then pouring out of, our church every year during VBS. It makes me so incredibly excited for what is yet to happen THIS year at VBS! Our program is truly blessed, and I am so thankful for each life that gets to be a part of it! As I type my very first ever blog entry tonight, I'm feeling incredibly thankful for Teresa Myers, who decided that our church needed a blog to keep all of you informed about VBS and many of the other great things we have going on that are related to VBS. This blog will be another way to communicate the exciting information leading up to Northwest Bible Church's Vacation Bible School.  This year the theme will be High Seas Expedition:  Exploring the Mightly Love of God!  Stay tuned for information on fundraising, registration, and volunteer requests.  Our director, Brook Hickle, is busy planning for another successful program.
